Santiago Joven is a single producer lot from the ASPROTIMANA coop in the Huila region of Colombia. Only 5 producers' farms meet the coop's standards to be processed separately. Of these 5, Santiago Joven has by far the smallest farm. We at Spyhouse are proud to have exclusive access to this micro lot.
Santiago Joven’s first sip hits you with bright tropical and honeyed stone fruit notes, very simpler to apricots; peppery floral notes like lavender slowly soften into a classic chocolate malt. This coffee is very complex yet non-threatening. It is the perfect coffee for staring at snowbanks and hoping for summer's sun.
