Pantan Musara starts off with a medley of tropical fruit flavors, such as watermelon, passion fruit, strawberry, and mango, with a hint of citrus and herbal overtones. The cup continues to develop into a silky, buttery finish that reminds of meringue and Chardonnay. This coffee continues to develop more complexity the more time you spend with it. It is the perfect coffee to sip with a slice of freshly baked pie as everything comes into its peak freshness.

We are incredibly excited to see Pantan Musara return to Spyhouse. This is a truly unique and amazing coffee that we love to work with each year. The Pantan Musara is one of the only Asian Pacific washing stations to do a traditional washed processed coffee. Receiving whole cherry, rather than depulped at the picker’s home, allows them to ensure that only the ripest coffee is used for this special process. Combining these two factors leads to the cleanest and most complex coffee we have seen from this region. You can expect to see all the spices and herbs traditionally found in Sumatran coffee, but matched with amazing tropical fruit flavors and clean citrus overtones.
