Los Manzanos' cherry is processed at Rio Jorco's micro-mill, an exceptional wet & dry processing facility in Costa Rica's Tarrazu region. Both Amy & Katie had the pleasure of seeing Rio Jorco first hand and cupping many of their micro lots. Coming back to our cupping table, this selection shows the deep care for their product they witnessed there. Like many great Tarrazu coffees, Los Manzanos has exceptional clarity, due in part to exceptional processing.
Los Manzanos’ bright red fruit and creamy nougat notes are complimented by a soft white pepper-like finish. This coffee is bright and exciting, yet comfortable. It is the perfect coffee for shaking off the chill of a cold wind.
