Jipat is an exceptionally unique offering. Ethiopian coffees are almost exclusively blends of local heirloom varietals that come from a large group of producers representing the region around the washing station. This offering is nearly entirely made up of a single varietal, 74110, and grown exclusively on the Jipat farm which operates its own washing station. Like most coffees from the Lekempte region, it possesses the citrus elements revered in the more well known Yirgacheffe region, as well as the delicateness that makes coffees from Limu so prized. We're exceptionally honored and excited to be able to work with such a rare offering.
Jipat is marked with exceptional lime tones similar to sherbet and limeade with floral tones reflective of hibiscus and Japanese green tea. This coffee is unlike any other coffee we have seen. It is the perfect coffee for those looking to try something familiar, yet entirely unique.
